Newcastle University will provide dedicated researchers from the Informatics Research Institute(IRI) and from the Geoinformatics Group at the School of Civil Enginering and Geosciences. The IRI carries out research into Human Computer Interaction, pervasive and ubiquitous computing, computer visualisation and artifical intelligence. The School of Civil Engineering and Geosciences Geoinformatics Group carry out research and development into all aspects of spatial data management, analysis, delivery and visualisation.
